Giles, your photography is beautiful! May I ask which photo editing software you use? How do you apply your "name stamp" in the lower left corner of your photos? Thank you!

How did you light this shot? Was it taken in the evening? It would be good to know. Also, as a matter of interest, do you usually use available light for you indoor shots, or an off-camera flash (or more) and do you use reflectors? I'm just learning and am impressed by the consistently clear quality of the light in your photos.

Woah Giles! This is stunning! I can't believe you got to visit Columbia! I've been dreaming of going there for like three years... and I could have been at the open house too. I just wasn't informed of it until the day of. Jealous!

Giles,
I was also wondering where you got your 'name stamp'. I would really like to get the program to use it as well. Thank you!

I, like many others, found your site from your mom's blog. I've just finished looking through all your posts from the beginning until now. Although your photography has ALWAYS been good, it's gotten so much better! You've really learned a lot and developed your skills tremendously in the past several years. I'm sure you'll get even better in the years to come...although I can hardly see how you could. :)

Thanks for capturing such beauty and sharing it with so many others!

These shots were lit with a small off-camera flash, into an umbrella, which is unusual for me; most of my shots are completely natural light with no reflectors or light modifiers.

The name stamp is a function of Adobe Photoshop Lightroom, as part of the export.
